Kensington Loop
This 42-mile road ride takes you out Macarthur Blvd to Potomac, then heads back in toward the city on Tuckerman Ave through Kensington, before heading south across the District back to Georgetown. Bonus: if you find yourself in Kensington and hungry, stop by one of the best pizza places in the area, Frankly…Pizza! Located behind the Safeway that you’ll pass in Kensington, they’ve got a great patio where you can watch your bike while eating. Recommendations for pizza: try the Hot Mess or the Mushroom.
Hyattsville Loop
This 29-mile road ride takes you along the National Mall before heading northeast up to Hyattsville. Grab refreshments at Vigilante Coffee before jumping on the Anacostia River Trail to head back to DC.
